Danville- Florence "Belle" Bleveans, 76, of Danville passed away at 2:42 PM on Monday, April 16, 2012 at Vermillion Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born on February 1, 1936 in Danville to Frank and Marie Makemson Linne. She first married Darryl Cripe who gave her three children. She later married Ed Bleveans in 1995 in Coco Beach, FL. He survives. Also surviving are three children, Sharyl (Jeff) Powell of Danville, Dave (Beth) Cripe of Danville, and Janet Elliott, also of Danville; Ed's two daughters, Cheri (Sam) Stewart of Champaign, and Lori (Scott) Noyer of Westfield, IN, and her four children, Eric, Brittany, Ashley, and Stephanie; a brother, Robert (Shirley) Linne of Tennessee; two sisters, Ruth Nickelson of Hawaii and Julie Ann Grider of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Brian and Chris Elliott, Kimberly Huls, and Wyatt Cripe; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, John A. Linne, Harlan Linne, and Frank Linne, and a sister, Louise Jackson. Belle was a Hostess at the Ramada Inn in Danville until her retirement after 18 years. She and Ed were members of the Danville Boat Club and lifelong members of St. James Methodist Church. Belle liked to dance with Ed and loved spending time with her grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Florence "Belle" Bleveans will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Reverend Randy Robinson will officiate. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, April 18, also at Sunset in Danville.
