Felicia Maritano

WESTVILLE- Felicia Paradiso Hawkins Maritano, 86, of Westville, passed away at 10:18am on Wednesday, August 31st, 2005, at Provena USMC in Danville. She was born on December 10th, 1918, in Danville, the daughter of Angelo and Jennie (Marquessi) Paradiso. Both parents precede her in death. On December 27th, 1940, Felicia married Jack Hawkins. He preceded her in death in 1957. She later married Delfino Maritano. He also preceded her in death. Felicia sadly leaves behind two daughters, Jacquelyn (Frank) Land of Georgetown and Janice Hawkins of Westville. Also surviving are her six grandchildren, Jack (Dana) Land of Danville, Missy Sims of Catlin, John (Debbie) Hubbard of Hazelton, IN, Mia (John) Leverenz of Danville, Jancy (Walt) Hoult of Savoy and Justin Sergent of Westville. Felicia will also be missed by her nine great-grandchildren, John M. Land, Sava Howell Jordan Barney, Brooke and Cody Hubbard, Chad and Holly Minick, and Johnny and Jenne Leverenz. She is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. Mrs. Maritano was employed at the Sears-Roebuck retail store in Danville until retirement. She was a member of the Saint Isaacs Jogues Parrish in Georgetown where she enjoyed spending time with her church family but her greatest joy was being able to spend time with her own family. Per her wishes, Felicia will be cremated and a private family graveside service will be held at the Georgetown Cemetery. The family requests no flowers and that any memorial donations may be made in Felicias name to donors choice. Arrangements entrusted to Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home.
