Farill B. Wimsett, 75, of Georgetown, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 3, 1945 in Danville, IL, the son of Calvin and Norma (Coonce) Wimsett. Farill was united in marriage to Sandra K. Lamar on July 27, 1979.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Sandra; children, Kim (Dale) Dukes of Danville, IL, Tammy (Todd) Malkus of Ridge Farm, IL, Rhonda (Matt) Alexion of Danville; brother, Benjamin Wimsett. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Farill was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, one being his twin.

Farill enjoyed watching western movies, wood working and collecting pins, knifes and watches. He loved to play Yahtzee with his sister-in-law and brother-in-law. he will be missed by everyone who knew him.

A Celebration of Farills life will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, IL, 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois, 61846. A visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Georgetown Cemetery.
