Evelyn June Bell, 95, of Westville, Illinois passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, at OSF Hospital in Danville, Illinois.

She was born on June 30, 1930, in Bismarck, Illinois to Henry and Nancy (Sanders) Carter. She retired from the Department of Corrections as a dietary supervisor after two decades of service.

June had many hobbies throughout her life. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, stock car races and, most recently, word search puzzles. Above all she loved spending time with her family. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her sons; Danny Anders, Ed (Sally) Morrison, Kary (Irene) Morrison and Jeff (Richel) Morrison. Her daughters; Cathy Villarreal and Lisa (Anthony) Fields. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Charles Carter, Lowell (Nita) Carter, Harold (Naomi and Carol) Carter, and Kenneth (Marlene) Carter; sisters Viola (Bob) Curtis and Helen (Jim) Fritz; son, Chaz Anders; son-in-law Bob Epperson and daughters-in-law Jeanne Anders and Edna Anders.

Visitation will be held from 2 PM to 4PM on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Sunset-Urbas Chapel, located at 414 S. State Street, Westville, Illinois. Per June’s wishes cremation is to follow.
