Everett C. Dowers

Everett C. Dowers, 80, of Georgetown, passed away at 5:58am, Thursday, September 29, 2011, at Provena USMC, Danville. He was born on October 4, 1930, in Georgetown, the son of Charles and Stella {Jeffers} Dowers. He is survived by his brother, Verlin Dowers of Arizona and his sister, Rosemary Reed, as well as, many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his sisters, Doris Campbell & Alma Clark; and his brothers, William Dowers & Russell Dowers. Everett was a bell hop at the Wolford Hotel for over 20 years and enjoyed watching television and playing cards. As were his wishes, Everett will be cremated with no services held at this time.
