Evelyn Vivier

Evelyn Vivier, 80, of Westville, died at 12:33pm, Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at her home. She was born in Danville on August 17, 1929, the daughter of William and Julia (Klaman) Kuchefski. She was married to Marcel Vivier Jr at St. Marys Church in Westville on April 23, 1949, until his passing on June 24, 1992. Evelyn is survived by: her son, Ken Vivier of Danville; her daughter-in-law, Trudy Vivier of Tennessee; several nieces & nephews; and special friend, Frank Hart of Westville and his family. She was preceded in death by: her son, Marcel Bill Vivier; two brothers, Bill & John Kuchefski; and her stepfather, Harry Radomski. She had worked at Sunbeam, General Electric, and was a substitute Rural Mail Carrier for Westville. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Westville. She enjoyed her home, working in the yard, and spending time with family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, October 24, 2009, at St. Marys Church, 231 N State St, Westville, with Father Timothy Sauppe officiating. Visitation will be 6pm to 8pm, Friday, October 23, 2009, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville, with a Rosary at 5:30pm. She will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery, Danville. Memorial donations may be given in her name to St. Marys School in Westville.
