Evelyn Reffett

Evelyn O. Reffett, 77, of Danville, IL passed this life January 22, 2007 with no time for farewells and no good byes; only Gods whisper to come home to rest. Evelyn was born December 3, 1929 in Alabama daughter of J.W. and Lillian I. Ross Murdock. She will be dearly missed by her five children: Frank (Charyl) Lawrence of Danville, Jason Reffett of Danville, Eleanor (Charles) Montgomery of Anderson, SC, Vicki Lawrence of Hahira, GA, and Feleshia Reffett of Danville; nine grandchildren: Karri Ann Lawrence, James Lawrence, Dominick Luster, Tanijia & Damon Robertson, Jacob, Krista, & Colby Reffett, and Amar Williams; eight great grandchildren: sister: Joice Murdock of Danville; brother: William (Christine) Murdock of Cedartown, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Danville. She worked for Continental Filling until retiring due to health reasons in 1976. A Celebration of Evelyns life and visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center; 3940 N. Vermilion Street in Danville. A committal service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at the funeral Home. There will be a private burial at Sunset Memorial Park immediately following.
