Evelyn N. Lewis

Westville - Evelyn N. Lewis, 92, of Chrisman, formerly of Westville and Spencer, WV, passed away at 12:05 PM on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman. She was born on September 2, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA. She married Kenneth L. Lewis. He preceded her in death in 2008. She is survived by a son, Darrell (Dorothy) Lewis of Westville; two grandchildren, Daryl Ann (Marion) Lewis-Roosa of Boston and Denys (Charles) Robertson of Seattle; and a great-grandchild, Julian Lewis-Roosa. Evelyn worked as a Secretary for several motels and for St. John's Church in Spencer, WV, where she was a member. She loved music, singing in her church choir for many years. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Per Evelyn's wishes, there will be no services. Cremation has been entrusted to Sunset's Urbas Chapel at 414 S. State St. in Westville.
