Evelyn Lloyd

Evelyn I Lloyd, age 93, of Peoria, IL, formerly of Danville, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008 at OSF St. Claire Nursing Home in Peoria, IL. She was born April 25, 1915 in Danville the daughter of William and Della (Hayden) Seaman. Evelyn married Ralph E. Lloyd on June 28, 1941 in Danville. He preceded her in death on December 1, 1993. She is survived by one daughter: Nancy S. (Robert) Grisolano of Oak Creek, WI.; one son: David R. (Jana) Lloyd of Peoria; two grandsons, one granddaughter, one step granddaughter, six great granddaughters, and one nephew. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, one sister: Thelma, and one brother: Edward. Evelyn attended Danville elementary schools and was a graduate of Danville High School. She was a homemaker for most of her life. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed reading. Her family was the most important thing in Evelyns life. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. A celebration of Life graveside service for Evelyn Lloyd will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Park. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations can be made in Evelyns name to the OSF Hospice of Peoria.
