Evelyn Farnum

Evelyn M. Farnum, 85, of Muncie, IL, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the North Logan Health Care Center in Danville. She was born on July 10, 1923, in Oak Creek, Col., the daughter of Emile and Lucy (Du Four) Farnum. She is survived by her three sons, Emile Farnum of Fresno, Cal., Roger Farnum of Muncie, IL, and Russell Farnum of Muncie, IL. Also surviving are her eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, her sister Lucille of Sebring, FL, her special nephew, Mike Willet, of Danville, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, James, 3 sons, 1 sister, and 1 brother, precede Evelyn in death. Evelyn was a homemaker and a St. Louis Cardinal Fan. She loved life and her family and will be missed by all that knew her. Per Evelyns wishes, cremation will take place and a graveside service will be held at Songer Cemetery in Tilton at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center is handling arrangements.
