Eve Mazelle Thompson Wills

Eve Mazelle Thompson Wills, 75, of Westville, passed away at 10:00am, Monday, March 9, 2009 at Provena United Samaritan Medical Center. She was born on May 22, 1933 in Fort Sill, OK, the daughter of Cecil and Eva Mae (Burns) Thompson. Eve married Delmar Calvin Wells on January 23, 1950 in Fairmount, IL. He preceded her in death on August 6, 1996. Eve is survived by eight children, Michael (Julia) Wills, Becky ( Lynn) Simmons, Shirley (Larry) Hayes, Joyce (Alan) Johnson, Carla (Kenny) Nichols, Sherri (Bill) Shank, Terri Cullop, and Ginger (Scott) Cooper, nineteen, grandchildren, Laura, Karen, Brian, Craig, Crystal, Victoria, Jonathon, Jennifer, Cara, Miranda, Kyla, Amanda, Billi Jo, Paul, Brandon, Jessica, Jacob, Kim and Chad. nine great-grandchildren, Robert, Tiffany, Nick, Emily, Nicholas, Robbie, Parker, Carsyn, and Ellie Wren, and three sisters, Barbara (Russell) Switzer, Priscilla Webb, and Vickie Lesley. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Deborah Fourez, and grandson, Christopher Johnson. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and going to yard sales. There will be no visitation. Graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Danville National Cemetery. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in charge of arrangements.
