Eva M Hubbard

Eva M. Hubbard, 78, of Indianola, passed away at 3:30pm, Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Provena USMC, Danville. She was born on December 13, 1931, in Delphi, Indiana, the daughter of Elihu and Lois (Stark) Cope, both deceased. She was married to Jesse Hubbard on June 3, 1949, in Terre Haute, IN, until his passing on June 28, 1979. Those who will miss her include: her children, Ronald (Linda) Hubbard of Indianola, Kenneth (Letious) Hubbard of Indianola, Jesse Jr (Kimberly) Hubbard of Bonnie, IL, Timothy Hubbard of Danville, Larry Hubbard of Indianola, Barbara (Michael) Lewin of Sullivan, IN, Eva Darlene (James) Snider of Georgetown, & Nancy Glidewell of Danville; her eighteen grandchildren; her eighteen great grandchildren; her four great-great grandchildren; her siblings, Darrell (Mildred) Cope of Fairmount, Inez (Edwin) Wheeler of Attica, IN, and Donna (Jerry) Cooper of Tilton. She was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, one granddaughter, and one grandson. Eva was a home healthcare giver and a homemaker. She attended Olivet Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and cooking. Evas family was most important to her in her life. A celebration of Evas life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown. Pastor James Blue will officiate. Visitation will be 11:00am to 1:00pm before the service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery in Indianola.
