Eva Bolton

Danville Eva Bolton, 89, of Danville went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 16, 2023 at 2:54 PM.

Eva was born on August 21, 1933 the daughter of Roscoe and Esther (Ledbetter) Roberts in Richmond, VA. Her first marriage was to Charles Ketcherside. Her second marriage was to James Whorrall. Later in life, she met her soulmate Kenneth Bolton and they were married until his passing.

Survivors include her children, Mark (Cheryl) Ketcherside of Westville, IL, Rhonda Richards of Cortland, IL, Kathy Knight of Campobello, SC, Jimmy (Pam) Whorrall of Danville, IL, Sandra Smith of Danville, IL, grandchildren, Robbie (Megan) Ketcherside, Lindsey (Aaron) Ahart, Trena (David) Millsap, Jason Silvey, Michelle (Adam) Prester, Tara (Chip) Westbrook, Denny Andrew (Virginia) Smith, Mary (Kyle) Black, Kayla (Joseph) Benson, Breanna Heard, Randy Ketcherside, Vince Ketcherside, Aaron Ketcherside, and Amanda Harris, 21 great grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren, two siblings, Bill Roberts of Roanoke, VA and Ada Pritt of Fort Smith, Ohio, as well as her dog "Mollie".

Eva is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Johnny Roberts.

Eva enjoyed spending her time listening to country music, singing, playing the guitar, watching westerns, especially "Gunsmoke", and taking care of her dog, "Mollie". Most of all, Eva loved spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Robbie Ketcherside will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made in Evas memory to the Vermilion County Animal Shelter.
