Eugenia May Jones

Westville, Ill. -- Eugenia May (Haussy) Jones, 45, of Westville, passed away at 12:21 a.m. CST Wednesday (December 6, 2006) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, Illinois. She was born September 30, 1961, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Marcus Haussy and Doris Baker. She married Richard M. Jones on June 6, 1996 in Williamsport, Indiana. He survives. Other survivors include: three daughters, Tabitha(Bruce)Edwards and Constance M. Trussel both of Georgetown, Illinois; Rachelle Jones of Westville, Illinois; two sons, Richard Jones of Westville, Illinois and Jimmy Joe Jones of Williamsport, Indiana; one grandson, Bruce(Trey)Leroy Edwards III of Georgetown, Illinois; Her mother, Doris(Gene)Michael of Perrysville, Indiana; two brothers, Jeffrey(Rhonda)Haussy of Georgetown, Illinois and Michael(Amy)Trosper of Hillsboro, Indiana; Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; Grandparents, Jules(Lydia)Haussy and Auburn(Lola Belle) Baker Viars and many aunts and uncles. Eugenia formerly worked at Guy's Bakery and Hardee's in Danville, Illinois and John's Food Basket in Georgetown, Illinos. She was a member of the Holiday Hills Free Methodist Church in Danville, Illinois. Eugenia was a 1979 graduate of Georgetown High School and received her Associates Degree as a Paralegal from DACC in 1994. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, going to flea markets, collecting strawberries, pitchers and bowls. She especially enjoyed watching westerns and spending time with her family. Funeral services: 1 p.m. EST Saturday, December 9, 2006 at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Larry Stoops; Burial: Georgetown Cemetery, Georgetown, Illinois; Visitation: 11 a.m. EST till time of services Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the funeral home. Family request contributions may be made to the trust fund for Eugenia's two youngest children, Richard and Rachelle Jones at the First National Bank of Westville, 101 E. Main Street, Westville, Illinois 61883.
