Eugene Charles Young

Eugene C. Young, 74, of Champaign, IL, formerly of Rossville, IL passed this life on November 20, 2022, at Carle Hospital at 5:38pm. He was born to William E. and Bernice K. Young on January 19, 1948.

He married his one true love, Celia May Finch on August 3, 1967, she survives.

They were blessed with one child, Eugene C. Young II. He was the light of their life. He preceded them in death on June 26, 2021.

He was preceded in death by a special grandfather, Eugene Monrose, his parents, and a brother, Robert Young.

Surviving are his identical twin brother John E. Young of Chrisman IL, brother, Bill E. (Lisa) Young of Chrisman IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Rose Anna Tunks.

Eugene was a hard worker and retired from General Motors Central Foundry in Danville, IL. He loved his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed "oldies", 50s, and 60s music and baseball.

The family has entrusted Sunset Funeral Home for arrangements. A private burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.
