ZIONSVILLE, IN- Ethel Bryant, a long time resident of Danville, IL., passed into eternity on Friday, March 21, 2008 at Zionsville Meadows Nursing Home in Zionsville, IN. Born on March 27, 1908, in Georgetown, IL, the daughter of James and Jennie Gustafson Middlemas. She married Harvey L. Bryant on February 20, 1934. He preceded her in death on October 16, 1954. Ethel is survived by her ten children: Harvey (Sue) Bryant of Danville, Jack (Linda) Bryant of Palatine, Il, Dale (Sue) Bryant, of Brownsburg, IN, James (Karen) Bryant of Ogden, Il, Philip (Gail) Bryant of Danville, Il, Glen (Dona) Bryant of Indianapolis, IN, Roy (Lorrie) Bryant of Brownsburg, IN., Betty Lou (Robert) Howell of Danville, Marilyn (Doan) Marlatt of Newtown, IN, and Barbara (Joe) Johnson of Hillsboro, IN. She is also survived by a combined total of 114 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Her daughter, Beverly Beresford, stepchildren: William J. Bryant, Tempest I. Bryant, Wandalene Naomi Eddy, and her ten brothers and sisters: Ray, Walter, Ralph, Charlie, and Jim Middlemas. Fern Strebing, Othelia Steele, Frances Mahoney, Alice Rippon, Irene Skinner, and her two great grandsons: Colton Dale Bryant and Matthew Richard Beresford precede Ethel in death. She was a loving wife and mother who was devoted to her family and loved ones. Ethel loved to sing, do crafts, and play bingo. She cherished her time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all that knew her.
