Ethel 'Bonnie' L. Pribble

Ethel L. "Bonnie" Pribble, 92, of Georgetown, passed away at 1:59am, Monday, December 25, 2017, at Presence USMC, Danville. She was born on August 28, 1925, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Roscoe and Leona {Vanfleet} Bonebrake. She was wed to James F. Powell and later Kenny Pribble. Both preceded her in death. She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Jean) Powell of Georgetown & JD (Johann) Powell of Westville; her brother, Walter Bonebrake of Georgetown; her 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Bonnie made her house a home for her family. She was a great cook and was known to make the best lasagna. She loved gardening and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed going fishing. Bonnie cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandkids, and enjoyed time with her many, many friends. A Visitation will be held 12pm to 2:00pm, Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown. She will be cremated and laid to rest Forest Park Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be given in her name to Central Park Church of Christ, 1335 S. Washington St, Tilton, IL 61833.
