Esther Mason

Esther Mason, 54, of Mattoon, IL formerly of Danville, IL passed away at 9:15 AM on February 13, 2025 at Palm Garden Nursing Home in Mattoon.

Esther was born on February 19, 1970 the daughter of Roy and Sandra (Little) Mason in Danville, IL.

Esther is survived by her mother, Sandra Rainer of Danville, her siblings, Lorretta (Miles) Whorrall and Kay (Donald) Griffith as well as several nieces and nephews.

Esther is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and her father, Roy Mason and an infant brother, Roy Wayne Mason.

Esther enjoyed spending her free time coloring, making jewelry, writing letters, loved animals and cherished visiting with her family and friends.

Private family services will be held and Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.
