Esther Dugger

GEORGETOWN - Esther Pauline Dugger, 82, passed away at 2:50am, Tuesday, February 26th, 2008, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village, Chrisman. She was born on November 2nd, 1925, the daughter of Paul and Esther (Whitehead) Griffin, both deceased. She was united in marriage to Noel Dugger on May 17th, 1946, in Fairview Park, IN. He will miss her dearly. Others who will also miss Pauline include: her children, Jack (Kay) Dugger of Georgetown, Gary (LaDonna) Dugger of Fairmount, IL, and Janice Dugger of Gurnee, IL; her grandchildren, Chad Dugger, Clay (Tamra) Dugger, Julie Dugger, & Chris Dugger; her brother, Jack (Mary) Griffin of Clinton, IN; and many nieces and nephews. Pauline was a loving homemaker and a faithful member of the First Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking and reading. She was well known for baking and decorating cakes. A celebration of Paulines life will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, February 29th, 2008, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown. Pastor James Blue will officiate the service. Visitation will be 4-8pm, Thursday, February 28th, 2008, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in Paulines name to Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman or Donors choice.
