Esther Crew

Esther A. Crew, 85, of Georgetown, passed away at 1:15 p.m. Friday January 21, 2005 at her home. She was born on July 13, 1919 in Sidell, IL the daughter of Joseph J. and Leota F. Ashley Mahoney. She married Albert B. Crew on April 23, 1937 in Georgetown, IL. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1994. Survivors include: two sons, Russell J. (Carolyn) Crew of Sylvester, GA and Patrick (Connie) Crew of Phoenix, AZ; one daughter, Judith (Tony) Heim of Orland Park, IL; one brother, Billy N. (Virginia) Mahoney of Cayuga, IN; one sister, Bettie Hale of Ft. Myers, FL; six grandchildren, Jodie (Randy) Smith of Sylvester, GA, Russell (Sherry) Crew Jr. of Sylvester, GA, Rebecca Heim of Orland Park, IL, Kerry Crew of Dawson, GA, and Benjamin and Caleb Crew of Phoenix, AZ; ten great grandchildren, and many friends, all of them special. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, one sister, and one grandson, Matthew Heim. Esther enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.
