Ervin Knight

Ervin "Zig" Knight, 82, of Mascoutah, Illinois, formerly of Westville, Illinois, passed away Tuesday June 4, 2024. Ervin was born the son of William and Elmabell (Jackson) Knight on August 5, 1941, in Danville, Illinois. Ervin married Patricia Markevich on July 11th, 1959. She preceded him in death.

Ervin leaves behind his children; Bradley (Beth) Knight, Lisa (Don) Witherspoon, Rebecca Knight, and Suzanne (Matt) Loftin, his grandchildren; Amanda Eagles, John Miller, Maguire Knight, Ashley White, Chad Witherspoon, Zakery Loftin, Haili Loftin, Brad Knight Jr., step grandchildren; Casey Fotopoulos, and Loren Mohrman, also six great grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren, his siblings; Wini Neild and Richard Knight.

Ervin was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife.

Ervin was a member of Laborers Local 703. He enjoyed reading and working on model cars. He will be missed by all who knew him.
