Ervin C. Beaulier Sr, 86, of Danville, IL, passed away at 4:56 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, Illinois. Ervin was born August 29, 1921, in Rhinelander,WI, son of Phillip J. and Bessie Mae (LeBay) Beaulier. He married Eloise (Smith) Beaulier on December 2, 1944 in Danville, Illinois. She preceded him in death. . Ervin is survived by his two sons, Ervin Chuck (Sandra) Beaulier and Joseph (Kim) Beaulier both of Danville, and a brother Ronald (Jeanie)Beaulier of Kenosha, WI and eleven grandchildren, Heather (Brad), Phillip, Stephen (Jenny), Rebecca, Jonathan, Cathy, Malinda, Kevin, Drew, Sydni, and Kinslee and three great-grandchildren, Andy, Ella, and Corey, and his most recent cherished companion, his dog Lucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Eloise, one son Michael, two sisters and two brothers. Ervin worked as a cook supervisor at the VA Hospital from 1948-1982. He retired after thirty-five years of service. He had also enlisted in the Civilian Conservation Corps in Wisconsin. Ervin was a U.S. Army veteran who served from December 1942 to April 1946. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus 754 and Veterans of Foreign War Post 728. He was a member of the Society of the 100th Division Sons of Bitche with the 397th Infantry. Ervin was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packer fan. He enjoyed bowling and his dogs. A celebration of Ervins life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum with Deacon Richard Smith officiating. Entombment will follow. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Monday, October 8, 2007, at Sunsets Community and Life Tribute Center. Memorials may be made in Ervins name to the Holy Family Church or School.
