Erroll L. Harding, 77, passed away on October 27, 2023 at his home in Covington. He was born on September 12, 1946 in Canby Minnesota to Avis and Harold Harding. They preceded him in death. Erroll attended Canby High School and graduated alongside the Class of 64. Soon after high school, he was drafted into the United States Army and was inducted in 1966 at Fort Riley, Kansas. He spent a couple of years serving his country overseas in Vietnam before returning back to the States to Fort Benning, Georgia. He stayed in Georgia after being discharged and began his career in banking. In 1982, he moved back to his home state of Minnesota for a short while before moving to Indiana in 1983 to work as a bank manager until 1991. He then began his lengthy career in the auto industry working at a Chevy dealership, where he would eventually retire from. Erroll married Debra Burchett in November of 1992. She survives. Also surviving are his stepchildren Samantha (Sam) Guilliams and Lockey (Chris) Eppley; grandchildren Abbie Guilliams, Lilah, and Cohee Eppley; and his sister Annette Harding. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Todd Harding. Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded, and he will be buried at Danville National Cemetery with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Southern Care Hospice at 935 Mezzanine Drive, Suite B in Lafayette, IN; the Perrysville Fire Department, at PO Box 398 in Perrysville, IN 47974; or the West Liberty Church of Christ where Erroll and Debbie are members, at 2806 W State Road 32, Covington, IN 47932.
