Enrique 'Henry' Lopez

Danville - Enrique "Henry" Lopez, 68, of Danville passed away at 7:11 am on March 2nd, 2022 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Henry was born on Nov. 9th, 1953 in Saginaw, MI the son of Jesus and Carlotta Lopez. He married Patti Ann Nelson on Dec. 30, 1987 in Saginaw, MI and she survives.

Survivors include his wife, Patti Lopez of Danville, IL, six children, Chris Lopez of Bay City, MI, Jaime (Lisa) Lopez-Roka of St. Charles, MI, Jodi Lopez of Reese, MI, Brad Clarkson of Bay City, MI, Brooks Clarkson of Danville, IL, and Shannon (Stephen) Rannebarger of Danville, IL. Seven grandchildren Kendall, Payten, Drake, Karmalita, Ella, Jace, Alexandra, and Abigail, as well as two sisters Gloria Estrada and Babbs (Dave) Sanchez.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Rosie (Leo) Casarez, Angie Rocha, Mickey (Joe) Marquez, Sue Duran, and one brother Augie (Stella) Lopez.

Henry retired from General Motors after 34 years of service. He enjoyed spending his free time driving his Trans Am and was meticulous about mowing and caring for his lawn.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, IL, 3940 N. Vermillion St. Danville, IL 61834 and they are assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorial may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital in Henrys memory.
