Emma R. Pasierb, 89, of Westville passed away at 10:10 a.m. Saturday March 20, 2010 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. She was born on September 14, 1920 in Danville, IL the daughter of Michael and Mary (Russian) Siglinsky. She married Ted Pasierb on October 30, 1948 in Danville, IL. He preceded her in death on January 8, 1985. Survivors include: her daughter, Sandra (Larry) Myers of Littleton, CO, her sons Michael Pasierb of Westville and Ted Pasierb of Westville, her grandchildren Tim (Laurie) Myers of Centennial, CO, and their children Katelyn, Kyle, and Matthew; Todd (Donna) Myers of Woodbridge, VA and their children Nicole and Morgan Myers; Tyler (Laura) Myers of Geismar, LA, and their children, Sean, Paige and Luke; Melissa (Joel) Love of Boulder, CO, and their child, Elijah Love; and Emily (Nick) Cadman of Champaign, and their children Adrian and Warren; one sister Mary Farrell of Westville. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Anna Oswalt, Elizabeth Wallner, and Helen Abbott. Emma worked in a war factory in Cleveland, OH during WWII and then worked at GE for thirty five years before retiring. She was a member of St. Marys Parish. She enjoyed watching the movies Casablanca and My Fair Lady and was a fan of Lawrence Welk. She religiously watched Wheel of Fortune. She loved visiting her friends at the YMCA, YWCA, and the Vermilion County Court House. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved going to the childrens museum, swimming, and going the West Side Park in Champaign with her grandchildren.
