Champaign- Emily Dawn (Royse) Davis 34, of Champaign left this life at 7:06 a.m. on Monday Dec. 31, 2012 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. A Celebration of Emily's life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday (Jan. 4, 2013) at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center Champaign-Urbana Chapel 710 N. Neil St. in Champaign. Officiating will be Pastor Steve Wingert. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Champaign. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Emily Royse-Davis Memorial Fund Account under Lisa Parnell at any Regions Bank Location which will help support her 3 children's education. She was the daughter of Ivan Royse and Lisa Parnell. They both survive. Other survivors include her 2 daughters Julia Dynnae and Taylor Jordan Davis and a son Ezekiel Woods all at home in Champaign. Paternal grandparents Ernest and Alma Royse of Olney, IL and Maternal grandparents Rex and Millie Parnell also of Olney, IL. A brother Brian (Jackie) Royse and their son Braden all of St. Peters, MO. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Emily worked as a Pharmacy technician for Walgreen's. She attended the First Christian Church in Savoy. She was a great cook and her greatest love in life was spending time with her children, family, and friends.
