Elsie Reynolds

GEORGETOWN- Elsie (Stahl) Reynolds of Georgetown passed away at the age of 90, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman, IL on February 20, 2006 at 12:50pm. Mrs. Reynolds was born on December 19, 1915 in Milford, IL, the daughter of Eli and Nellie (Bassinger) Stahl. Elsie leaves behind: her two daughters, Juanita Campbell of Georgetown, Roberta (Harold) Gernand of New York; one sister, Bertha Faucet of Ohio; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 12 great great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and two daughters. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the Georgetown First United Methodist Church and belonged to the Dan G.E. Club. Elsie was also on the First United Methodist Church Womens Society and volunteered with Bible School. During her employment years, she worked for the General Electric Corp. out of Danville, IL, retiring after 32 years of service. Elsie enjoyed sewing, caking baking and decorating and spending time with family. A private graveside family gathering will take place on Wednesday, February 22, 2006. Memorial contributions may be made in Elsies name to the Pleasant Meadows Christian Village and/or the Georgetown First United Methodist Church.
