Elsie Marlene Anderson

Elsie Marlene (Osborn) Anderson, 77, of Danville passed away on February 16, 2021 at 5:30 am at Pleasant Meadow Nursing Home, in Chrisman, IL. Elsie was born on November 10, 1943 to Lee and Virginia (Rosnett) Osborn in Danville, IL.

She married the late John Anderson on August 21, 2018. Also preceding her in death are her parents, one sister Bonnie Osborn and one grandson Thomas Mitchell Edward Souders.

Elsie leaves behind one son Edward (Darlene) Souders of Georgia, three daughters Terry Stephenson of Georgia, Amanda Souders of Danville and Melissa (Dale) Williams of Georgetown, one sister Donna Rice of Danville, ten grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and one on the way.

Elsie enjoyed being with her family and friends doing crafts and making cakes. She was a member of the Puxico United Methodist Church in Puxico, MO. She retired from Prevena Heath in 1997.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday February 19, 2021 at 1 pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois, 200 E. West Street Georgetown, Illinois 61846. With Raymie Gordon officiating. Burial at the National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be on Friday February 19, 2021 at the funeral home from 11 1.
