Ellen J. "Sis" Rudolph

Perrysville, Ind. -- Ellen J. "Sis" Rudolph, 60, of Perrysville and formerly of Cayuga, Indiana, passed away at 6:15 a.m. EST Monday, November 9, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born July 7, 1949 in Clinton, Indiana, the daughter of the late Betty Jane Farner Blair and Melvin Roy Self. She married Richard L. Rudolph on September 13, 1964 in Georgetown, Illinois. He survives. Other survivors include her children: Chris L.(Amber)Rudolph of Gessie, Indiana; David D. Rudolph of Perrysville, Indiana; Shannon R.(Kenny Thomason)Niccum of Newport, Indiana and Michael R.C.(Wendy Troop)Rudolph of Milledgeville, Tennessee; daughter/sister, Jill Self of Newport, Indiana; sister, Jan(Mark)Mahan of Elkhart, Indiana; five brothers, Don Self of Newport, Indiana; Loren(Patty)Self and Randy(Sherri Meeker)Self both of Elkhart, Indiana; Gary Self of Newport, Indiana; Andy(Anita)Stimac of Elkhart, Indiana. She was preceded in death by two great granddaughters, Chastyn Alaine Niccum and Isabella Ratliff; nephew, Gavin Nichols. Ellen enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards and dice. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Funeral services: 1 P.M. EST Friday, November 13, 2009 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor John Hawkins; Burial: Helts Prairie Cemetery near Clinton, Indiana; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EST Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the funeral home.
