WESTVILLE - Ella Mae Golladay, 71, of Westville, passed away at 1:00pm, Wednesday, December 27th, 2006, at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home. She was born on January 23rd, 1935, in Westville, IL, the daughter of John and Ardith (Bishop) Evans. She was wed to Robert Golladay, Sr. on May 27th, 1958. He survives. Other survivors include: her sons, Craig Sunderman of Danville and Bob Jr. (Donna) Golladay of Hoopeston; her daughters, Tina Lee of Westville and Nona (Lenny) Dills of Arizona; her grandchildren, Stacy (Shaun Russell) Woods of Westville, Kristy (Jay Smith) Etchison of Westville, Bobby Golladay III of Alabama, Josh Baldwin of Arizona, Amy (Luke Sturm) Golladay of Hoopeston, John Baldwin of Arizona, Buddy Estes of Westville, & Alex Golladay of Hoopeston; her eleven great grandchildren; her sister, Jacqueline Vandewalker of Tilton; her special friends, Doris Balchuk of Westville and Maryann Vandement of Danville. Her parents, several brothers and sisters, preceded her in death. Ella Mae was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked for Vermilion Manor Nursing Home for 27 years and then worked with Home Health Care. She treasured taking care of elderly people. She enjoyed shopping with Doris and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren who affectionately called her Mamo. A celebration of Ella Maes life will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, January 2nd, 2007, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel of Westville. Reverend James Blue will officiate. Visitation will be 2-6pm on Monday, January 1st, 2007, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at St. Peter & Pauls Cemetery.
