Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Milner

Elizabeth Ann “Libby” Milner, 79, of Danville, IL passed away at Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka, IL at 1:07 PM on July 26, 2025.

Libby was born on November 17, 1945 the daughter of Ernest and Ruth (Curtis) Mominee in Danville, IL. She married George M. Milner on June 1, 1968 in Danville, IL and he preceded her in death on November 15, 2024.

She is survived by two daughters, Ann (Kenneth) Ostrom of Baton Rouge, LA, and Julie (Brian) Weber of Peoria, IL, and her two grandchildren, Jacob Weber and Lauren Weber, both of Peoria.

Libby was a member of Covenant United Presbyterian Church and later First Presbyterian Church in Danville, IL. She was devoted to her church home and served in a variety of roles including but not limited to Clerk of Session, singing in the choir, and volunteering. Libby also worked at the Commercial News.

A Celebration of Life for Libby will be held at 12:30 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at the First Presbyterian Church, 100 N. Franklin Street Danville, Illinois 61832. Reverend Macy Ruple will officiate. Burial will be in Danville National Cemetery at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N Vermilion Street in Danville, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Danville, IL or a charity of the donor's choice.
