Betty, in her earlier years worked as an operator for the Illinois Bell Telephone Company and then Continental Aerosol (ATI) retiring with 18 years of service. Our mother took great pride in her home. She loved to have large family gatherings, especially during the holidays, preparing wonderful meals and planning many activities for her children and grandchildren. She loved her two little canine companions, Sparky and Sheba. She loved attending church services at The Rock Church. She enjoyed karaoke and was affectionately known as Betty Boop. She enjoyed gallivanting and she never knew a stranger. Our mother cherished and nurtured her family, always beaming with pride when it came to her children. Our home was never lacking when it came to love, support, and good times. The testimony of our mothers legacy is seen through our lives today.
