Elizabeth Jayne Foster

Elizabeth Jayne Foster 83 of Danville passed away at 12:28 PM Friday September 23, 2005 at USMC Provena Hospital. She was born December 2, 1921 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Arthur Gates Stone and Cora Belle Comstock. She had married Robert John Foster on July 31, 1937 in Clinton, Iowa, he preceded her. Surviving are three daughters; Jean Elizabeth (Paul) Ricketts of Covington, Janice Rae (Thomas) Burch of Tangier, and Carol Lynn (Don) Anderson of Hoopeston, a sister; Arduth Joyce (James) Hammand of Ellijay, Ga, 23 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren Elizabeth was preceded by her parents, son Robert Earnest, four sisters and three brothers. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and crocheting, making crafts listening to music and public radio, playing the slot machines, Las Vegas was her second home. She loved her dogs and cats and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. As per her wishes she was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
