Elizabeth Jane Tuggle

WESTVILLE- Elizabeth Tuggle, 81, of Westville passed away at 12:26 a.m. Sunday October 8, 2006 at the home of her son. She was born in Danville, IL, on March 27, 1925 to Nellie (Linne) Sandlin and Theodore Sandlin. Liz was a 1943 graduate of Catlin High School. She married Harold Mullen on August 15, 1948 in Catlin. He passed away September 18, 1966. On August 15, 1968 she married Donald Tuggle of Paris. He passed away April 13, 1995. She is survived by her children; Marj Mullen (Allan Bressler) of Ann Arbor Michigan, Linda (Ron) Hubbard of Indianola, and Marty (Shirley) Mullen of Westville; one sister Alice Clark of Saginaw, Michigan; three grandchildren, Michele (Paul) Schmandt, Jill Hubbard, and Ryan Hubbard; five step grandchildren, Steve Bressler, Sue (Harold) Snyder, Deanna (Bill) Murry, Angie Guge (Clay), and Tonya Erp (Ryan); and four great grandchildren and eleven step great grandchildren. Her parents and one sister, Margot London also preceded her in death. Elizabeth last worked as the Sexton at Woodlawn Cemetery in Indianola. She enjoyed working crossword and picture puzzles and cooking for family and friends. A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday October 12, 2006 at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown. Burial will be at Jones Grove Cemetery in Catlin.
