Elizabeth Harvey

Elizabeth D. Harvey, 87, of Danville, IL passed away at 7:30 pm, August 25, 2006 at Provena USMC Logan Campus in Danville. She was born September 8, 1918 in Charleston, Illinois daughter of William L. and Louise (Andrew) Davis. She married Thomas Harvey on October 5, 1958, in Danville. He preceded her in death April 17, 1997. Surviving a step daughter: Patricia Briggs of Horse Cave, KY, brother: Lowell (Vena) Davis of Charleston, IL, and sister: Laurel Swinford of Charleston. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister. She was employed 23 years in the offices of Danville Electric Supply prior to her retirement. After retirements she was a volunteer at Provena USMC Logan Campus. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. A Celebration of Elizabeths life will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Danville, with Rev. Jimmy & Katie Hopper officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
