Danville Elizabeth Ann Bromley, 97, of Danville passed away at 10: 25 PM on December 27, 2020 at Heritage Health in Hoopeston, IL.

Elizabeth was born on January 4, 1923 the daughter of Benjamin and Lizzie (Runyon) Hughes in Danville, IL. She married Delbert Dale Bromley on May 28, 1944 in Georgetown, IL and he preceded her in death on April 12, 2008.

Survivors include her two daughters, Linda (Dan) Dice of Bismarck, IL and Carol (Doug) Mutter of Green Valley, AZ, four grandchildren, Dale (Barb) Dice of Bismarck, IL, Danella (Kent) Reining of Bismarck, IL, Rob (Amy Beaudoin) Durnell of Girdwood, AK, and Elizabeth (Robert) Bracco of Las Vegas, NV as well as ten great-grandchildren, Matt Reining, Zane Reining, Tyson Reining, Layla Reining, Hunter Reining, Rheyse Dice, Luke Dice, Lexi Dice, Marissa Bracco and Cody Kirk, and five step great-grandchildren, Justin Johnson, Jordan Flint, Chelsea (Kyle) Hufford, Forrest Beaudoin-Mize and Sage Beaudoin-Mize.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Delbert, and five brothers, Allwin, Russell, John, James and Harold Hughes.

Elizabeth was a member of Lincoln United Methodist Church, now the First United Methodist Church in Danville, IL where she and her husband, Delbert volunteered in a variety of activities. She enjoyed spending her free time playing golf, sewing, working on crafts, reading, traveling and later in life, oil painting. Elizabeth retired from Summit Bank in Fort Wayne where she was employed in various roles and retired after 20 years of service.

A Private Family Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Greg Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Danville National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the funeral home.

It is kindly requested that those in attendance of the visitation or service wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Memorials may be made in Elizabeths memory to the Resident Activities Fund at Heritage Health in Hoopeston, IL or the Parkinsons Foundation.
