Elizabeth Aguilera

Elizabeth “Lisy” Aguilera, 48, of Champaign, passed away at 7:38 pm on Thursday, October 31, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born in Chicago, IL on December 1, 1975, the daughter of Arturo and Maria Aguilera, they survive.

Lisy is also survived by her significant other, Guy; children, Sebastian and Bianca; brother, George; best friend and cousin, Dario E. Camacho, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Lisy was an incredible mother, nurturing and loving, always putting her children’s needs first. Her endless patience and unwavering support shaped their lives and will forever be a part of who they are. Her love was a guiding light, illuminating their paths even in the darkest of times.

Beyond her role as a mother, she was an amazingly strong and selfless person. She had a heart that knew no bounds, always ready to lend a helping hand or listening ear. Her generosity and compassion touched everyone around her, inspiring us to be better and to love more deeply. She will continue to live on in this world, not only in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved her but also in the quiet gratitude of those touched by her generous and selfless acts of kindness.

As we remember Lisy, let us honor her legacy by embodying the love, kindness, and strength she brought into our lives. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will live on in our hearts and memories.

She will be missed dearly, but we will carry her with us always. May her light continue to shine through us as we cherish the moments shared and the love she instilled in our lives.
