Eleanor A. Erbes

Eleanor A. Erbes, 97, of Danville, passed away at 4:55 am, Thursday March 21, 2019 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville.

Eleanor was born May 19, 1921, in Waukegan, Illinois, the daughter of Anthony and Helen Pipcius. She married Donald Erbes on June 14, 1947 in Waukegan, IL. He passed away May 26, 1987.

Eleanor is survived by her children, David of Delaware and Karen (Jim) Wagner of Danville; one sister, Pat Sivola of Lindenhurst, IL; 6 grandchildren, Brian Bellman of Crystal Lake, IL, Breanna (Jason) Pogorzelski of Round Lake Beach, IL, Andy (Lani) Wagner of San Diego, CA, Amy (Paul) Linduska of Aurora, IL, Caleb (Maria) Wagner of St Louis, MO, and Megan (Chris) Webster of Columbia, IL; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Barbara Bellman of Crystal Lake, IL, and 3 sisters, Valeria Rimkus, Josephine Krotzer, and Frances Miller.

Eleanor had been a resident at Hawthorne since 2014 and was a member of St Pauls Catholic Church, Danville, IL. She enjoyed crocheting and loved to play bingo.

A celebration of life Mass will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, March 25, 2019 at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Danville. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. She will be laid to rest in Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, Illinois.
