EILEEN KRIDER Eileen Krider, 89, of Danville passed away at 1:20pm Tuesday February 21, 2006 at Colonial Manor. She was born January 21, 1917 in Manchester, England, the daughter of the late William and Florence ( ) Thomas. She married Arthur Raymond Krider October 1, 1945 in Manchester, England. He preceded her in death July 21, 1973. Eileen is survived by two daughters Sue A. (Ken) Moudy of Fairmount and Linda J. (Ken) Hunter of Danville; four grandchildren, Matthew R. Moudy of Oakwood, Maridith J. (Chad) Hearnley, Tom W. Hunter, and Kendra L. Hunter, all of Danville; one brother, Bert Thomas and one sister, Gladys Littler, both of England; several nieces and nephews, special niece, Barbara Littler, and special friend and neighbor, Ruth Jones. Her parents, husband, one sister, Mabel, and two brothers, Bill and Freddie preceded her in death. Eileen was a graduate of Followfield School for Girls and college in Manchester, England. She was a legal secretary for 35 years for the law office of Carroll Snyder of Stifler and Snyder Attorneys. Eileen was a member of Farmers Chapel. She enjoyed reading, golf, and spending time with her family and friends. Celebration of life for Eileen Krider will be held at 10:30 am Saturday February 25, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion, with Pastor David Garver officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00pm Friday February 24, 2006 at the funeral home. Memorials in Eileens name to the Colonial Manor Residents Activity Fund, Alzheimer Association, American Cancer Society, or Donors choice.
