Eileen Golcynski

Eileen Kay Golcynski, 76, of Georgetown, Illinois, passed away in Danville, IL, on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. She was born on May 10, 1945 in Danville, the daughter of David and Anna (Branam) Guiliani, both deceased. She married John Joseph Golcynski on November 24, 1963. He preceded her in death on October 2, 2012. Survivors include her sons, Korey (Amalia) Golcynski of Mesa, AZ and Joseph Golcynski of Cameron, NC; her daughter, Kimberly Golcynski of St. Peters, MO; her grandchildren, Leslie (Jason) Stewart of Catlin, IL, Ryan (Candice) Chittick of Catlin, Dakota (Kelly) Okler of Olympia, WA, Kyle Golcynski of ST. Louis, MO, ShiAnna DeWitt of Bismarck, IL, Kira DeWitt of Hoopeston, IL, and Trenton, Kayden, & Blake Golcynski of Cameron, NC; her great-grandchildren, Brady & Parker Stewart of Catlin, Ryker Chittick of Georgetown and Gia Douglass of Bismarck; her sister, Paulette (Newell) Young of Edwardsville, IL; her brother-in-law, Wayne (Winnie) Lewis of Georgetown; her sister-in-law, Mary Helen (Harold) Williams of Penfield, IL. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Kristi DeWitt and Kelly Jo Golcynski; her brother, David Guiliani; her sisters, Kathleen Pitlik and Pauline Guiliani; her mother-in-law, Flossie Golcynski; her sisters-in-law, Janet Lewis and Carolyn Sue Spangler. A celebration of Eileens life will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846 with Pastor Matt Filicsky officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to her service at the funeral home.
