Eileen Emma Weathers

Eileen Emma Weathers, a kind gentle spirit, left this earth at 3:50am, Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, Chrisman. She was born to Neil and Marjorie Pugh on December 6, 1922 in Ridge Farm, IL. She was united in marriage to James Russel Weathers on March 5, 1943, until his passing in 1965. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Victor, twin sister, Irene Knight, and younger sister, Clara Brown Wait. She will be dearly missed by: her son, Gary and his partner in life, Bonita; her grandsons, Russell (Misty Waters) Weathers, Brent (Courtney) Weathers, and Lance (Amanda) Weathers; two great grandchildren, Emma Weathers & Blaiz Weathers; and three special nephews, Charles Knight, Dwight Brown, & Randy Brown. Emma, her namesake, was very special to Eileen and spent a lot of time with her at the nursing home thanks to Misty, Emma's mother, and Eileen's special caregiver. The day before her death, they spent time coloring together in the bed. Eileen was a devoted member of the Ridge Farm United Methodist Church and the Ridge Farm Heritage Society. She was a homemaker, a housewife, and enjoyed cleaning houses for others, as well as the Church. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00a, Monday, May 2, 2016, at Crown Hill Cemetery, Ridge Farm. Memorial donations may be given in Eileen's name to The Ridge Farm Historical Society or to donor's choice. Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, assisted her family with arrangements.
