Edythe L. Hathaway

Edythe L. Hathaway, 104, of Danville passed away on February 10, 2017 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born on October 27, 1912 in Danville the daughter of Jasper and Emma (Burow) Marion. She married John Hathaway on May 30, 1942 in Texas and he preceded her in death. She will be deeply missed by her nieces; Darlene Taylor of Florida and Ida Carpenter of California and special friend Shirley Smoot of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings. Edythe worked for Earl Gasthoff for many years and also the Sears Box Factory. She loved flowers and tending to her yard and garden. A celebration of Edythe's life will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 11 am at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville with Terry Goodwin officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
