Edwina Westwater

Edwina J. Westwater, 87, of Fishers, IN, formerly of Danville, passed away at 3:07am, Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Community North Hospital. She was born on February 17, 1931, in Danville, IL. The daughter of Edward & Georgia (Elkins) Stuebe. She will be dearly missed by her sons, Craig (John McQueen) Bott of Indianapolis, Kirk (Joy) Bott of Danville, John (Jasmin) Westwater of Vancouver, Canada, & Bob (the late Elfriede)Westwater of Shelbyville, IN; daughter, Alice (Robert) Collins of Huston, TX; grandchildren, Laura, Amy, Andy, & Stephanie Bott, Elizabeth, Chloe, Deklan, Achaius, Errol, Bobby, & Gisela Westwater, Bobby, Chris, Rick, & Michael Collins; and many great grandchildren. Edwina was preceded in death by her parents, daughter in law, Teresa Westwater; son, Alan Westwater. Edwina worked at Illinois Bell as a switch board operator, office manager at Logan Ave Foot Clinic, & worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise line in Miami, Florida. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts & Danville. Also enjoyed participating in Danville light opera. Her travels took her through all 50 states, cruising the Caribbean & visiting Europe. Most of all enjoyed being with her family. A celebration of Edwina's life will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion, Danville. A visitation will be from 1:00pm to 3:00pm prior to the service. A private graveside service will be held at SpringHill Cemetery.
