Edwina Dossey

Edwina (Brown) Dossey, 88, of Danville, passed away at 12:27am Monday May 22, 2017. Edwina was born in Kingman, Indiana on September 5, 1928 the daughter of IvaLoo Nale. On August 2,1947 Edwina married the love of her life Marvin Dossey and they spent the next 65 years together before his passing in 2012. Edwina is survived by her nephew Sammy (Marianne) Brown. Edwina is preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant son Jeffery Thomas Dossey, brother Harold Thomas Brown and niece Tommilou Corey. Edwina was a very outgoing person, she enjoyed her Wednesday outings to the boat with her friends. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband to many different countries. In her spare time, she could be found dancing or in her garden tending to her flowers. Edwina had a very sweet soul and loved spending time with her family including her husband and many cats, she will be missed by all she came in contact with. A Graveside Service for Edwina will be held Sunset Memorial Park 3901 N. Vermilion St. in Danville on Friday May 26, 2017 at 11am. Officiating will be Pastor James Blue.
