Edwin Brown

Edwin B Brown, 76, passed away on Thursday January 17, 2019 at Amber Glen Alzheimer Care Center in Urbana, IL. Ed was previously a long-time resident of Brooklyn Park, MN.

He was born on August 3, 1942 in Newton, IA to James and Ermyne (Hatch) Brown. Ed and his wife Marilyn (Lemon) were married on March 26, 1964. He is survived by his daughter Karin (Paul) Sailor; grandson Johnathon; and various nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother Robert.

Ed graduated from high school in Ames, IA. He attended Iowa State University for 2 years, and served in the National Guard. He worked at the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDOT) for over 40 years. Ed was a devoted husband and father. In his spare time he enjoyed working with electronics, building and flying model airplanes, and sailing.

A graveside service with committal will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery 1803 N. Coler Ave, Urbana, IL. 61801 on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 12pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Edwins name to the Alzheimers Association.
