Edward Pate

Edward G. Pate, age 72, of Danville, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born September 10, 1935 in Atlantic City, New Jersey the son of George and Agnes Marie (Toy) Pate. Edward was a Catholic by faith and liked to read Western books, work on cars, go fishing, and spend time with his grandchildren. Edward is survived by his wife: Helen (Myers) Pate of Danville; three children: Edward Allen Pate, Donna Marie Williamson, Ronald Wayne Pate all of Danville; two brothers: George Nolan of Minear, IL, George Pate of Westville; two sisters: Judy Wyman of Illinois, Barbara of Bloomington, IL; fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
