Edward Meeks

Edward A. Meeks, 66, of Danville, passed away at 1:12PM Sunday July 11, 2004 at the Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Tilton. Ed was born October 20, 1937 in Danville, the son of the late Abe L. and Ruth M. (Clark) Meeks. Survivors include 1 son Terry Meeks of Texas City, TX. 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 2 brothers, Robert Meeks of Tilton and Kenneth Meeks of Rock Island. 2 sisters, Nancy Davis of Danville and Betty See of Champaign and special family Vicky, Colby, and Kenny of Danville. 1 brother, and 1 sister preceded him in death. Ed was a truck driver for 32 years with Mervis Industries. Ed enjoyed helping others and making people laugh.
