Edward Charles Mumford

Edward Mumford, 88, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018. He was born on July 16, 1929 the son of Charles and Opal (Kelsheimer) Mumford. They precede him in death. Survivors include his wife Ruth Mumford; one son, Kenneth (Cathy) Mumford; four stepchildren, Buffy Cary, Christopher Cary, Melissa Cary, and Timothy Jones; one sister, Eileen B. Martin; and special friends, Glen and Tera Buskirk. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Officiating will be Pastor Darin Perkins. Burial will be in the Danville National Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9-10 AM at the funeral home.
