Perrysville, Ind. -- Edna Mae Furr, 85, formerly of Perrysville, Indiana and a resident of The Waters of Covington for the past year passed away at 12:10 a.m. EST Monday November 30, 2009 at The Waters of Covington in Covington, Indiana. She was born March 11, 1924 in Bismarck, Illinois, the daughter of the late James Bert and Mary Elizabeth Cox Drollinger. She married Everett Furr on December 31, 1974 in Cayuga, Indiana. He preceded her in death. Survivors include: two daughters, Sue(Gene)Marshall of Lodi, Indiana and Betty(Mark)Johnson of Cayuga, Indiana; four sons, Larry(Debra)Atterbury of Lodi, Indiana; John Michael Atterbury of Rockville, Indiana; Randy(Patty)Atterbury of Sandstone, Minnesota and David(Yolanda)Atterbury of Montezuma, Indiana; Several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Connie Ellis and Pat Bush; one son, Robert Lee Atterbury; two grandsons, Andy and Tony Bush; one step great grandson; two sisters and three brothers. Edna was a former nurses aide working in the nursing homes in Clinton, Indiana. She was a member of the Countryside Baptist Church south of Kingman, Indiana. Edna enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EST Thursday, December 3, 2009 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor Tim Johnson; Burial: Miller Cemetery, Lodi, Indiana; Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. EST Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Countryside Baptist Church, Kingman, Indiana 47952.
