Edna M Steinbaugh

Edna M. (Lyons) Steinbaugh, 93, of Danville passed away on Saturday November 21, 2015 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. Edna was born on October 21, 1922 in Sidell, IL. the daughter of Willis and Blanche (Darnell) Lyons. She married Joseph Steinbaugh on May 4th, 1941, he preceded her in death. Surviving Edna are her two children; Sharon Faye (Jerry) Nesbitt of Danville and Larry Joe (Sandy) Steinbaugh of Alvin, grandchildren; Becky (Larry) Cottle of Danville, Tammy (Robert) Winkler of Danville, Jody (Dan) Hagberg of Bloomington and Chad (Jodi) Steinbaugh of Georgetown, step grandchildren; Randy Nesbitt of Danville and Tammy (Scott) Williams of Pearland, TX., great grandchildren; Kenneth (Whitney) Cottle, Clayton Cottle, Michael (Chasidy) Winkler, Bricie and Becca Winkler, Caleb, Joshua, Isaac and Rebekha Hagberg, Conor, Lacey, Cale and Cameron Steinbaugh, step great grandchildren Ryan Nesbitt, Austin and Haley Williams, two great great grandchildren; Easton Cottle and Kaden Winkler, Also a very special friend Rose Mary Fox. Edna was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Charles and Ervin Lyons. Edna enjoyed her flower garden, being a farmer's wife, spending time with her family. She really enjoyed going to rummage sales and knowing all about her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Celebration of Edna's life will be at 10am on Tuesday November 24, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home, with Pastor Bill Carpenter officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday November 23, 2015 from 4pm - 8pm. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Cancer Foundation or to Donor's choice in Edna's name.
